With HomeSalon, every piece brings the world to you. This AI-powered hybrid commercial aired nationally on M6, leaving viewers thinking about what it would be like to have a HomeSalon couch.
Project Scope:
Develop concept art for potential AI backgrounds.
Create AI-generated backgrounds.
Composite live-action footage with AI backgrounds.
Project Execution:
Pre-Production:
Collaborated with the client on the story and background vision.
Strategized which shots would be fully AI-generated and which would be hybrid AI/live-action.
Ensured the AI-generated couches matched the real furniture.
AI Production:
Created, animated, upscaled, and prepared AI backgrounds.
For model and couch interaction shots, rotoscoped the subjects and prepared them for compositing.
For shots without models, created fully AI-generated scenes with just the couch in exotic locations.
Post-Production:
Final compositing of live-action and AI scenes.
Ensured visual consistency and high detail.
Distribution:
Aired on M6 and distributed online, including YouTube and the client’s platforms.
